Curious about the status of a claims payment?
Western Grocers Employee Benefits Trust provides an online claims access system. You can look up claims and eligibility online service requests for yourself and family members currently on the plan who are under age 18.
To login into the system, please go to the Western Grocers Employee Benefits Trust website and click the link “Members click here to access your personal benefits records” and use the login name and initial password that was mailed to you earlier. (If you can’t find the login information, just go to the contact page and submit a request to have it resent to you)
You will be prompted to change your password during your initial login, and will be required to enter the last four digits of your SSN during that process.
Once you are logged in you will be able to view your claims and eligibility information. Please note, if you would like an email notification when new claims are processed you will need to add your email address to your profile. To add an email address, simply click on “My Profile” from the Home Page, under User Preferences click on “Enable Claim Status Email Notification” and then add your email address under the User Preferences area. After your email address is added, click on the “Update Email Address” button. Your email address will now be part of your profile.
Once you are registered, you can access any of the programs or services listed on the menu to the left of the screen or on the toolbar at the top of the screen. The next time you log into your account, you will use the same login name and the password you created.
If your Adult Dependents choose to allow you to have access to their protected health information, they will be offered the option to complete an “Authorization of Release” form and upon signed receipt, we will open access under the insured member view.
